As someone who has studied the arts since childhood, I believe the creative process is a calling. Art, in whichever form it takes, is a gift to the world.

For me, writing is an artist's brush full of color, it's composing at a piano, it's the tear in an actor's eye, the shadow in a moody black and white photo, the brilliant mix of chocolate and chili powder on your tongue and  - it's everything your soul has to say.

I once read a quote, "Every child is an artist until someone tells them they are not." I like to believe the ability to communicate the human condition is in all of us. In the raw courage of expression, in the depths of inspiration, soul-gardens bloom. I hope you find something in my stories that make you stop and listen to what your soul is connecting to.

I am pursuing the traditional publishing route, a journey of stops and starts, but I am grateful to have had surprising results so far.
